What we collect

When you register on this site we collect the following information:

We do not share this information with any other party at this stage.

In order to enrol on a course you enter a Course Code provided by another organisation. By enrolling on that course you agree to share your data with that organisation.

if your role is Teacher, we collect information about your date of birth, the school in which you are teaching and the phase in which you are training. We also collect information about your gender, ethnicity and whether you have a disability. You are not obliged to disclose this information.

All of the above information is shared with the organisation that provides the course you have enrolled on.

What we do with the information we gather:

We use this information to provide a portfolio service to organisations. This helps portfolio holders to meet criteria provided by the organisation on whose course you have enrolled. Outset ePortfolios does not award any qualifications or accredit any courses. Any use made of this website with regard to recommendation for any award is the responsibility of the organisation providing the course.  


We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

How we use cookies
